The Gardens of Babylon continues its 2023 schedule with an impressive label debut from Israeli talent Dor Danino as he unveils his ‘Like A Stone’ EP.
Following releases on CRRCT VIEW, Maccabi House, Selador, Blue Shadow and many more, he now turns to TGOB with two freshly-
squeezed hedonistic cuts accompanied by respective remixes from Chaim and Adam Ten.

Opening the release on the title track, ‘Like A Stone’ welcomes a wave of gliding percussive
drive and alluring melodies that lift its pulsating groove. A charming tribal vocal bleeds its way in and out of the mix from start to finish, adding character to this already gripping piece of music.
Dor Danino and Yamagucci combine on ‘Seven Eleven’, crafting a stripped-back cut that celebrates an almost endless bed of percussion, soulful vocal runs and sweeping harmonies.
Every component contributes to the track not only in a musical sense but also brings movement to the mix, creating a continuous flow of intensifying emotions and resonant frequencies from the outset.

Chaim’s remix of ‘Like A Stone’ follows, centering around swirling vocals and pulsating bass tones that complement its subtle rolling groove. The track’s vocal topliner plays a big part in leading the melodic progression and energy levels that undulate throughout its journey into several captivating solo sections.

Adam Ten’s remix of ‘Seven Eleven’ rounds off the release, blending minimal, afro and deep house flavours together to carve out a unique spin on an already engrossing track. The track’s clever pitch modulation within its percussive programming adds memorable character to the mix, keeping you completely mesmerised whilst its atmospheric breaks and climactic intersections dazzle throughout.
