Already a household name in Berlin, with gigs at Watergate, Sisyphos and more under her belt, Stil Vor Talent regular Deer Jade returns to production with new vigour on an exciting collaboration with Dominican producer Vander. His sound is distinctive yet diverse, dancing between Afro-Latin influences, synthwave and the darker side of disco which we can hear on releases via Pipe & Pochet, Discos Tabu and Klassified.

‘Intergalactic Tango’ instantly teleports you to a dreamy destination with use of Mâhfoud’s exotic synth work and Moroccan sounding organ chords. Jade’s sensual vocals encourage you to keep exploring the sonic landscape of this daytime lounge record. Perfect for the warmer days and nights ahead.

The package comes with two fantastic remixes, the first from Parisian duo Chambord, who take a bit more of a deeper approach to the track and creates an ethereal atmosphere. The gentle arp keeps the rhythm moving and pairs perfectly with the stripped back percussion.

The second from Pandhora who take the original on a more dancefloor focused approach. There is a distinct contrast between the deep / groovy bassline and the smoother, almost jazzy chord progression. Replacing the organ chords with funk guitar strums adds a subtle French flare to their edit.

The trio unleash a heavenly sound together. A unique release with deep squelchy bass combined with a striped back groove for a Latin-infused masterclass.
